Today is another Hop of our International Team, today we are presenting the designer paper "Sail Away". As soon as I saw the new catalogue I fell in love with this whole suite, I made some Home Decor with this paper last month, you can look at it here if you want...
As I was on the Greek Isles Incentive Trip, I wanted to make a Mini-Album with this Paper for the pictures of the trip. I am currently on Holidays, doing some climbing with the family, but I took the paper, some cardboard , and some cardstock so I would be able to make the Album to show it to you today! The album is not yet finished, it is a basic album, waiting to get filled with memories and lots of little accessories here and there, but I wanted to show you the "making of" instead of a completely finished project. I will be showing the finished Album here, later this month with the directions.
Heute gibts eine weitere Runde in unserem Internationalen Team zum Papier Meer der Möglichkeiten. Vielleicht hast du letzten Monat den Beitrag mit dem Home Decor aus diesem Papier gesehen?
Für die Fotos von der Griechenland Kreuzfahrt war es mir auch klar das dieses Papier ideal ist, und somit ist jetzt im Urlaub ein Mini-Album entstanden! Es ist kein fertiges Album, es ist sozusagen noch die Rohversion des Albums, das nun darauf wartet mit Erinnerungen, Fotos und kleine Verzierungen Hier und Da fertiggestellt zu werden. Später dieses Monat zeige ich Euch dann gerne mal das fertige Werk, inclusive Anleitung!
These are the holes where the binding comes together.
Die Bindung besteht aus 6 Löcher wo Faden durchgezogen werden
For the inside, I made 3 kind of files outof Designer Paper, filled with cardstock
Das Innenleben besteht aus 3 Folders aus Designerpapier, befüllt mit Farbkartonseiten
The Paperbag is folded in half and I cut of the "closed side" to be able to put in smaller tags from both sides.
Diese Papiertüte habe ich in der Mitte gefalzt und den Boden abgeschnitten somit kann ich von beiden Seiten kleinere Kärtchen hineinschieben.

This is a Paperbag, with a Tag inside
Hier habe ich eine Tüte eingebunden, mit einem Anhänger drinnen
You can see all the parts of the first "File" before it was gathered in the Album.
So schauten die einzelnen Bestandteile des ersten Folders aus, bevor sie zusammen gebunden wurden im Minialbum
